How to Brief a Travel Designer

The most useful things you can tell us have very little to do with destinations.
Clients often open with a destination. We usually start somewhere else: how you like to spend a morning, how much movement you want in a day, whether dinner is the centerpiece or an afterthought.
Pace, company, and appetite for structure tell us more than a place name ever will. From there, the destination often selects itself.
Bring the constraints, too — dates that cannot move, a budget you would like respected, a travel companion who needs a slower afternoon. Constraints are not obstacles to a good itinerary. They are its shape.
