Some destinations carry a reputation so large that travelers stop asking whether it suits them. The Amalfi Coast in high summer is one of those places: extraordinary, and for many travelers, the wrong week.
This is not an argument against the famous places. It is an argument for fit. The same coast, four weeks earlier, is a different journey. A quieter shoreline one region over can deliver everything a traveler actually wanted from the postcard — without the parts the postcard leaves out.
Our role is not to talk anyone out of a dream. It is to make sure the dream survives contact with the calendar, the crowds and the drive. Sometimes the answer is a different month. Sometimes it is a different coast.
